Software

FFmpeg — GPL v3

DungeonRig includes a build of FFmpeg, used for converting and processing video map backgrounds. This FFmpeg build is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later. A copy of the licence is installed alongside the application.

FFmpeg is a separate program that DungeonRig runs as its own process. It is not linked into DungeonRig, and DungeonRig’s own source code is not covered by the GPL.

Offer of source code. The FFmpeg build we distribute is unmodified. Its corresponding source is available from ffmpeg.org/download.html and from github.com/eugeneware/ffmpeg-static, which is where we obtain it. If you would prefer we send you the exact corresponding source for the build shipped with your version, email contact@red-autumn.com and we will provide it at no charge.

DOMPurify — Apache 2.0

DOMPurify by Cure53, dual-licensed MPL 2.0 or Apache 2.0. Used here under the Apache License 2.0.

smol-toml — BSD 3-Clause

Services

DungeonRig’s online features run on Cloudflare (hosting, Workers, storage), Stripe (payment processing) and Resend (email delivery). See our Privacy Policy for what each one handles.

Optional AI features connect to providers using your own API keys — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and ElevenLabs. We do not proxy or see those requests.
